Imports from non-EU countries

The German Customs Administration has implemented the ATLAS IT procedure (Automatisiertes Tarif- und Lokales Zoll-Abwicklungs-System [Automated Tariff and Local Customs Clearance System]) throughout Germany. It is used extensively to automatically process Germany’s trade with countries outside the EU.

Since the ATLAS procedure was introduced in 2005, we have been using the system to declare imports for our customers.

From 1994 to 2005, we worked with ZADAT, the predecessor to the ATLAS procedure, which allowed us to gain experience of electronic customs clearance from very early on.

Below is a list of all the customs-related procedures and customs clearance services we carry out for our customers throughout our offices in Germany:

  • Free movement as prescribed by customs law
  • Temporary admission
  • Customs warehouse procedure
  • Inward processing
  • Outward processing
  • Conversion
